Private Health Management

Uncompromised comprehensive care.

Private Health’s Comprehensive Care patients enjoy the peace of mind inherent in receiving the finest preventive, diagnostic, therapeutic, and emergency care from the very best medical professionals and facilities in the world.

"Mr. G," a 45-year-old senior executive at one of the world’s largest media companies, recognized that his job, his "Type A" personality, and his nonstop, on-the-go international lifestyle put all sorts of stresses on his system. Staying healthy was Mr. G’s principal reason for becoming a Private Health Comprehensive Care patient.

All those business dinners had resulted in him packing on more than a few extra pounds. He experienced frequent bouts of heartburn as well as periodic knee pain. And he had a history of skin cancer.

At Private Health, Comprehensive Care means total care. All of these issues needed to be properly assessed and managed.

Accordingly, Private Health created a Clinical Management Plan for Mr. G that included an examination to evaluate his heartburn by a top gastroenterologist, who diagnosed a condition of the esophagus that could increase Mr. G's risk for esophageal cancer. The dermatologist we referred him to identified a basal cell carcinoma on his back, which was safely removed. We also discovered that Mr. G had been taking an over-the-counter anti-inflammatory medication for his knee pain, which was likely contributing to his heartburn problem. We arranged for counseling by a nutritionist and referrals to personal trainers in New York, Los Angeles, and London to help him get back into shape.

Now, a year later, Mr. G is still on the go…but ten pounds lighter. His heartburn and knee problems are well managed and he feels terrific. And wherever he travels (as he describes it, "from Akron to Zanzibar!"), he knows that his Private Health lead physician is as close as his mobile phone – 24/7, 365 days a year.
