Ronald W. Busuttil, MD, PhD, is Chair of the Department of Surgery and Director of the Dumont-UCLA Liver Cancer Center at UCLA Medical Center, as well as Professor of Transplantation Surgery at the UCLA School of Medicine. Dr. Busuttil is co-editor of Transplantation of the Liver and is a member of the Advisory Committee of the American Society of Transplant Surgeons. His research and clinical interests focus on adult living-donor and split-liver transplantation, as well as on immunosuppression and tolerance in transplant patients.
